Greg's childhood was rough. Both his parents had significant personal struggles that he was caught in the middle of. As an angry teenager he started a rock band as an outlet for his anger. He married a band member's older sister named Jesse. She was a deep believing Christian and led Greg to know Jesus and study the Bible. Tragically she died after a battle with cancer and Greg was heartbroken and devastated.
