Patrick struggled with barriers the enemy created between him and God, including idolizing the government and evolution.  The tragedy of 8 miscarriages in 5 years softened and conditioned his heart to receive The Word and Jesus.  After reading the entire Bible over a year he was a changed man.  With the idols smashed, heart softened, and the Word received, the old Patrick died and he was reborn as he put his faith in Jesus alone and left the world of deception behind.
